These images are of some of my very first designs. I have really come a long way. My God-sister, Taylor (first picture), was the first person to ask me to create a graduation cap, and that was May of 2018. I didn’t create another design until December 2018, when my roommate Maria (far right) asked me to create her grad cap design. It wasn’t until January 2019, when my friend Nysia (middle picture) asked me to paint her and her son on her grad cap, that it really took off. I had no experience with painting directly on this kind of material, yet she trusted me to create something beautiful for her. Her design, along with my personal design was enough to get others interested in getting their cap done by me as well. After a minute, I began to receive an overload of orders from people randomly finding me on Instagram, through Facebook, and just word of mouth. I even got an order for a preschool graduate! This was super fun and exciting for me because not only did I have a passion for art, but I loved having a good excuse to go to Hobby Lobby and Michaels. So, very quickly, I was able to turn some fun into a forever business.
